Master Jimmy Duong is a 6th Dan Taekwondo Master, elite-level competitor, and accomplished coach. A dedicated martial artist since his junior years, he has remained active at the highest level of competition — ranking in the Top 5 nationally in the Senior Flyweight (-58kg) division for the past five years, serving as the Pan American Games Alternate in 2023, and earning multiple national medals throughout his career.

Master Jimmy’s martial arts background is diverse, with additional training in Muay Thai, Karate, Hapkido, Kickboxing, and traditional weapons, giving him a well-rounded perspective that enhances both his teaching and coaching.

As the founder and head instructor of Ascend Taekwondo, Master Jimmy has successfully coached athletes at every level of competition — from local and state tournaments to regional championships, national titles at USA Taekwondo Nationals, and international victories and medals.
